PARTICIPATION IN THE PUNE BOOK FESTIVAL INITIATIVE TO CREATE THE GUINNESS WORLD RECORD FOR THE LARGEST ONLINE PHOTO ALBUM OF BOOKS

The Department of Library and Information Science participated in this initiative and submitted 2000 cover pages of the books available in the library. This initiative is steered by the director of Jaykar Knowledge Resource Centre Dr. Sanjay Desale who conducted the meeting of Librarians associated with Savitribai Phule University. 

With the overwhelming support of the librarian finally managed to achieve the Guinness World Record for the Largest Online Photo Album of Books.
