       National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) Books on Wheel Exhibition



On 17th January 2018 at Y & M A.K.I’s Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Principal Dr. Shaikh Aftab Anwar inaugurated a books exhibition cum sale mobile van from National Council for Promotion of Urdu language, New Delhi. Where he expressed his views that students must buy and read the books and this may support the development of Urdu language. Mr. Mirza Salat Baig (Hon’ble Trustee) invited as chief guest and appreciated the efforts. On this occasion Prof. Shaikh Iqbal (Vice-Principal, Science Faculty), Prof. Khan Moinuddin (Vice-Principal, Arts Faculty), Dr. Shaikh Muhammad Zuber A.M. (HOD and Librarian) and Dr. Abdulbari ( Assistant Professor Urdu Department), Dr. Farida Shaikh (HOD Economics), Prof. Atiya Khan (HOD Mathematics), Prof. Sayyed Wakeel, Prof. Khot Shahid, Jawed Akhtar, Dr. Abrar Ahmed, Prof. Ghulam Ahmed along with many other teachers and students were present. The students and teachers purchased books worth thousands of rupees and shown their affection towards the Urdu language.
